What to look for sj rn when buying? Bad!?

I'm going to be buying my first sj rn I have had plenty of 550s 650s 750sx sxi.. But my question is what are things to look for on the sj 's I heard about sinking motor mounts cracking hoods from pole slamming ??? Would like some pointers weak areas ?? Thanks

Honestly, when I go to possibly buy a used ski. Engine paint tells me a majority of how the owner used and abused the ski. The last two skis I bought (550, superjet) for poopts and giggles had original paint/coatings on engine. Needless to say they both have had zero issues.

Original paint:
Salt water corrosion, thumbs down
Greasy grimy, thumbs up (been sitting awhile, but only if motor spins freely)
Clean shiny paint, double thumbs up.

Rn superjets usually get gel cracks near the handlepole bracket and hood lip area.

This ski I'm gunna check out the guy actually stores it on his yacht says he's ridden in salt and in az I'm curious to see how the salt has treated this thing tomorrow morning I look at it

Salt usage can be fine if the owner took his time to prep before and clean after.

Looked at the sj it was gel coated navy blue not correct color at all it's a 96 at Least if it was the factory yamaha blue it would be cool the engine has bunch of rust bubles I offered the guy 2500 lol and I walked gunna keep my eye out for a sj rn!
