ANOTHER NOOB QUESTION

Ok. So what is this line coming from the pump stator? I just installed my Solas magnum pump and there is no connection on the new pump for it, what do I do now?

yap factory bilge. put a hole in your reduction nozzle and run a 1/4 copper toooob through it to 3/4 inch away from end of reduction nozzle and it will suck out water.

I just connected a 3/8 Y split. On the two ends of the "Y" I connected the pump line, and in hull line, and boom. Better than stock drain

As water is pushed out the pump, it pulls from the hull drain. Works better than stock IMO

Lol I got some weird lookin fingers in that pic haha. You're thinking about getting a mag pump? I'll let you know later this week how much better it rides with the mag pump over stock. I'll give some feedback on it

people say its day and night for jumping, racing, everything. it does take some top speed but a slower ski with a 12 vane will be faster in anything more than 4inch chop from what i've read. but yeah update us!

Alright, what am I missing?.?.? You hooked up the cooling water fitting to the stock siphon bilge with a T and are dumping it where? Overboard or piped back thru the bulkhead to cool the engine? Not sure a T like that will create enough, if any, suction to function the way you think. IMO, you are going to fill your hull with water.

That brass fitting should be connected to the tube in the bulkhead that feeds cooling water to the engine. Nothing else. If you have one on each side, then it is set up for dual cooling. If you only run one, just cap the other off with a brass plug.

The stock siphon hose from the bulkhead should connect up to a tube either in the reduction nozzle, and if I'm not mistaken, on the steering nozzle of some of the older SJ's.

No siphon on the steering nozzle of a 91 superjet. Here's a mag pump if you've never seen one lol. See two brass fittings. I can't connect the stock siphon to mine.

I was being sarcastic. You're going to sink your boat.

If you want to keep the stock siphon functioning, you will have to find a newer reduction nozzle that has the connection for the siphon. Otherwise, just cap it off and run an electric bilge.
