pvc and braided hose in an inaccesible area????? uh... okay!

Charlie---that's ABS pipe from what I can tell. It's even cheaper than PVC. :cool2:

flacarncycle guy---I'm going to have to agree with sfl on this one. PVC and ABS pipe both have qualities that I wouldn't want in an exhaust system and I understand why the cooling and exhaust pipe and fittings would not be desireable in an unaccessible area---the cooling lines should be copper (good), aluminum (better), or stainless (best) in my opinion.

check out my custom of the month thread if you must see what i do.

i didnt bash anything in this thread. you just took it that way.

your waterhog is a POS and itll fall apart on the first speedbump, is probably what you read.... but its not what i typed.... maybe you need glasses. :dunno:

that 1200 motor doesn't even look like an engine. I like it!

I saw the REV in Havasu this year---was very impressed with the overall ski. Lot's of effort obviously went into it---I heard somewhere around a $30,000 price tag if I remember correctly.

I wonder why the guy that was supposed to buy it backed out...I heard he didn't have the money, but I'm wondering if he backed out because of some other reason---certainly he paid Jeff something up front, so I can't imagine he just backed out completely.

mile9c1---do you know what's up with that? :dunno:

I dunno!!! Hell we have some gas water heaters that use PVC piping for the vent system---but the temps are much lower than a standard gas water heater vent.

CPVC has a higher temp rating, obviously  but the properties and temperature of the exhaust might weaken the joint---I have heard of PLENTY of PVC front exhaust failures and would be skeptical of ANY plastic piping.

Yes---they make it that big, but two inch and larger is only available in sch 80, which is a thicker wall thickness than "standard" CPVC which is schedule 40.
