Super Jet Hood Seal Question.

I have a Wammer hood coming for my 97 SJ. I also have a surf seal that I was planning on using.

Will the surf seal work with the Wammer gen iv hood. Wamiltons says the part of the hood that contacts the seal is a bit wider for a better seal.

Is it worth spending the extra money and getting an oem seal?

Correct lots of guys run theme. Im not sure haven't run the surf seal. Lots have used theme with good luck. Think I read somewhere they wouldn't work with certain hoods

Was just stating a fact about it since tx made me think about if there were any problems with it & the only problems I've heard of with it were on SN's since it doesn't fit well on the hood. Otherwise I haven't heard anything bad about it for other skis..

Surf seal will not work. I use a watcons seal with my warmer hood and seems to work great. The lip on the wammer hood is to wide and rounded for a surf seal
