If they are way to rich this could happen, if it is a good mixture engine the pistons would be dry..

You can feel if it is oil or water :)

Looks really rich or excessive oil ratio. Typically most run 40:1 so if thats what your using its probably just to rich.

I'm guessing this is fine I just rebuilt it and has 3 tanks through it so maybe change oil brands, run a weekend and see how she looks after that?

I use amsoil dominator 40:1 with excellent results. If u were breaking it in that could be why it looks the way it does once u start riding it hard it will probably look leaner. We tend to baby them during breakin which can make them difficult to get an accurate burn pattern. Looks good though. Warm it up good and run it hard good luck.

Maybe I need to retune my carbs I feel like the ski has some power that needs to be unleashed I've never even messed with my carbs really even after I put on the pipe and head
