msd setup is more reliable than microtouch imo.there were microtouch stories a few years back but maybe quality has improved??
set the cylinder count to 3 for lower kick in rpm.
do not mount the solenoid directly on pipe or motor,vibration will kill it.
not sure but i think msd enhancer (kawi version has it) cdi (if you use one) has a tach output for ecwi so no looping stupid wire around plug lead.
water filter is needed and ensure all connections are soldered and sealed.
best position for injector is on headpipe near exhaust manifold mounting flange .

ive got a 42590 msd witht the chrome face and it it says it comes on at 3k rpms and is non adjustable.. you can program it with dip switches to be full pressure at 3500 or 4k and start shutting off at 5k and allows adjustment for how long it stays on but is non programmable to come on below 3k rpm..

I've used the MSD adjustable one on my SeaDoos. No complaints. I thought it had two on settings, like 2500 or 3000 rpm, then the ramp to full on and the off ramp were adjustable by the dip switches...

Advent T3 can be purchased with controller built in with 2 separate on/off circuits. Just an option as opposed to a "stand alone" controller.

question how's the ignition side holding up ? are they reliable and which flywheel works with it?

Never heard of a flywheel compatibility issue with them. Idk about ignition side. Seems like with all the AM ignitions you have people without issue, then you have the same people with issues regardless of which brand they use. The new ones are billet cased to facilitate repair/replacement of parts I am told.

Thanks, that MSD sounds good, spray bar and everything, rpm adjustment starting @ 500, advent t3 started @ 1200, also lower on the page was the 1 & 2 channel micro touch.

500 seems early? Idle is set at750- 900 depending on setup?

True it's early but this new msd and the advent T3 you mentioned both have more adjustment in the lower rpm ranges than the older msd, that's what I was meaning to say
The b-pipe is spraying at all rpm's as soon as water flow with pressure starts
Good point though, adjustment down to 500 is pretty useless, the few seconds between engine cranking and fire up you blow right thru 500 rpm on your way to idle speed
strange that they sell it. but sears online is the best price i have found on the msd 42590 kit

That new MSD looks good. The MSD I had was the one with the DIP switches which really limited it. Probably not a bad deal(sears) if it comes with the solenoid, silicone line and the spray bar.

You have to set it to the 3 cylinder setting to get it to come on earlier.
