We tried Uship, builder used it in the past but when my hull was ready we got no bidders on my shipping, we waited like 5 days then went with freight quote.com like stated above. Florida to California in 5 days and on time with no issues. I think it was $635 with 15k insurance.

Contact John Carter of UNIshippers. He is a mod on Greenhulk. I think he owns the company. Anyways, it was only $140 plus tax for me to ship an SJ hull business to business from FL to OH last winter.

John has been top notch on my shipments. I tried the Uship process and it felt like a used car negotiation. John had the best prices and got it done timely.

THAT IS A STEAL ! I will keep this in mind

Definitely. The ski was empty with just a hood, pole, and turf. Seller put it in the box from his Evo, so it made it easy.

Some of the biggest markups in freight shipping is not having shipping destinations at businesses. Shipping companies significantly mark up costs for having to go into residential neighborhoods.

Also, they mark up if you require a liftgate. You can always get by without having a forklift or loading dock by sliding the crate from the semi directly into a truck bed.

Or, you could go pick up the ski at a local hub to save on shipping.

I have also used Freightquote and have had experiences shipping marine engines, outdrives, oil, etc. I have heard good things about Forward Air, but have never tried it myself.
