I just checked out Lake Street Beach in Gary to see what all the hype was about, zoomed in on google maps and this is what I saw... I'm sold. See you guys this summer!

I ride with my brother and a friend, and we would be up to meet up with some other riders. The more stand ups, the better!!

Lake St. is the best ride spot for Chicago peeps. Launching in the city is too expensive. Hammond is nice too but the beach is outside the break wall. Portage you have to no wake for a couple miles which sucks as well.

Im out there every Sunday in the summer that I am in town.

I asked one of the mods about it, he said it was gone for good. We'll have to remake the group.

Yeah dude I know, it kind of sucks. Good thing is we only had maybe 11-12 people in there when it got lost so we should be able to put it back together pretty easy. I'll see if I can put the group together again today. Feel free to upload those pictures you had on there.
