I bought a 1992 SN SJ about 5 weeks ago. First time taking it out, after running it seemed to me throttle response was lacking. After turning it off for about 10-15 min and getting back on it, it would hesitate for a couple throttle hits and run great. Well this past weekend I took it out and turned the screws L/H out 3 full turns. Runs like a bad out of hell now. Hits 140 psi dead nutts on both cylinders. Now after turning the screws out pulled the plugs and seems a mix between coco/greyish. On top end seems to lack the power needed but happy with throttle response. I am not trying to go full speed, would rather a quick throttle then top speed. Now I know very little about carbs but enough to get me through. I have come to the conclusion I need bigger jets and maybe a different pop off spring... any help would be appreciated.:arms:
