Freestyle Stock sj 1990 can I turn into freestyle ski?

I just got my first ski a stock 1990 superjet I want to get into freestyle flat water flips and rolls can this be done with this ski? And if so what mods do I need to do/ get?

^^^ X2 Never thought i would/could spend as much money as i have on my ski. Still stock hull besides minor fiberglass work. From personal experience, do not expect to flat water flip an OEM SN hull on flat water with a 701.

If you just got the ski learn how to ride it, how it handles, and upgrade in steps as you learn. If you really like the SN hull (many people do) then start hacking it up and create your own custom hull out of it, and mod your engine accordingly.

Think hard about your budget and your actual priorities, and ride before you buy.
I like riding a lot more than wrenching and modding, if I had more extra money I would just buy the best reliable RTR setup I could afford and enjoy riding.

It's your first ski, even if you had a $20,000 ski you wouldn't be doing flips or rolls anyway until you have become completely comfortable on a ski, for some people this might be a season of riding for others they will never be at that level. Just ride it and modify it as you go. You'll learn what you need.
