Hood Strap Mounting Ideas

Your real cool saying that you had to steal instead of paying a couple of dollars for these .
If you can't afford the couple dollars it costs for some buckles than you shouldn't have hood straps .

This isn't a mounting idea, but don't buy the plastic buckles if that is what you want to use. My buddy and I received our thanks to a K-Mart Shopping cart. 'Nuff said.

Actually that is how mine is now I just folded the strap to lower it a little to avoid the problem of scratching even though it didnt scratch yet .It doesnt really move around on there so it doesnt scratch but I moved it anyways because I bought a 2007 hood :biggthumpup:

I would mount mine a little lower so that I could keep the buckle on the turf instead of the scratching the paint job on the hood.

i did the same thing. they are great cause they are suppose to be for kids strapped in so they are rated much much better than the cheapo clips that are meant to hold some canvas rolled up or something.

cept i took them off a cart that got smashed by a plow. i even asked the manager and he said it was fine cause they were throwing it away.
