Its either a 98 or a 2000, and it has twin 85 hp, Ill have to find out what seadoo engines those are. Kinda tough because it is a twin but he said he would rather but a grand into this than buy a new one, I know 1,000 isnt alot for a twin but I was thinking impeller and pipe combo. Who could help me out with parts and what exactly this boat could use? Paul Lehr for parts and info? Impros maybe? The boat is fast now and handles awesome, but just needs a lil more braap, ouch I didnt mean that for a seadoo.

Eh...I think those are the 717 engines.
I am not sure how a pipe works on twin engines - but you may need two pipes.

Jet boats dont respond very well to pipes...

The problem is the pipes were made for small skis that get into the powerband very quickly, jetboat hulls are to big to get onto plane quickly so they tend to drag & never realise any power increases.

Just get some good aftermarket impellers & maybe some open flame arrestors with some rejetting should do the trick.

thats what were basically trying to fix, it wants to pull but its just sluggish off the bottom, especially after a spin or pulling a big person up on skis. Who could tell me the right impeller for this app.

I would call Impros on the impellers,a solas or skat impeller will do wonders for your jetboat, make sure to replace the wearrings when you do it.

Some Jetboats came with 787 motors, single or dual, some came with 650s & 720s single or dual motor.

Bill will tell you the same thing on jetboat mods, dont do it unless you like to work on them a LOT.:cool2:

I am going to throw in my 2cents here and strongly advise against any type of open falem arrestors on the 720 engine. It reduces your carb signal and creates a extremely lean condition on top end that cannot be jetted out.Group K has some excellent info on this subject.Regrettably I found that info after I had melted my top end down.Water worx is correct pipes do not work well on the boats.Possibly a mild head mod and rejetting with a new set of better impellers would be your best option and stay within your price range also.
