Super Jet 96 superjet electrical question

I'am installing my new msd in my ebox on my superjet, and i was wondering, how the e-box is getting his ground ? my negative cable from the battery goes to the engine, for the starter, but no other cable go to the ebox to give ground for cdi, rectifier etc...Last year my stock cdi blow up and i want to make sure that every ground is good for the electrical component. Can I pass a new ground wire from the battery to the ebox to make sure because I cant see where the negative can go from the battery to my electrical box.. Thanks all!

Yeah but I have no cable from the engine that goes to my ebox .. I cant see where my box is getting is negative .. Only 1 cable from negative battery to the starter, thats it. So as i can understand, I'm supposed to have one from engine block to the box ..

The ground that is going to your starter also grounds your engine. The ground wire for the ebox is grouped in with the stator wires which goes back and attaches to a ground point on the stator/engine under your flywheel.

Ok ok so the black wire from the stator bring the ground in my ebox ..! ahhh Here is the answer of all my questions ! I check every connection and want to make sure that I will not blow my brand new msd due to a bad ground ... Thanks all
