questions about this stock pole i bought...

i bought this pole and found the bottom of the pole has been ground down?

question #1 why would some one do this?

#2 should i get some aluminum welded back to it?

#3 or should it be fine and i shouldn't worry?

my guess it was to clear a different bracket or something just wondering if any one came across something like this. :biggthumpup:



and sorry for the pics i know they suck... will take new ones in a few minutes

Hey, I didnt even notice that on the pole... I wouldent worry about it though. The fiberglass will break before that. Looks liek it may have been ground down to clear a different pole bracket.

someone used it on a shorter plate ?

It looks like it was used on a square nose, and the pole was clearanced to get it to raise higher....
