whats wrong with motocross, they should have watercross AND motocross in the same show.

Not gonna lie...motorcross is alot of fun, I can get out on a stock 250f and rip it up, and the best part is i dont have to put $15,000 into a jetski, to compete. Motocross definitely has a level of danger a step above water sports. But dont get me wrong, they are two different sports completely...I love to ride surf!!! Just mad respect to all professional athletes!!!!:arms:

Everytime the X Games thread arises its important to understand that the individuals who suggest the idea that, yes may be very talented and accomplished, are not going to persuade the executives that run and promote the X games. It is a MUCH larger and deeper business issue than extreme sport related. If we were to get any consideration for being covered in the games, a handfull of representatives with business cred such as Mike Young and other promoters would have to approach the espn company with various promo packets showing them what they could ultimaly get out of it. Suggesting is a good step but we have to have to invest more than just that...

I second that ! also If you look at all the "sports" and competitors on the Xgames now, it is all generalized at Big Trick sports. bikes, skating, mountain bikes, dirtbikes, etc. I think that big air like Surf, or double up wake big air, or some sort of Freestyle that has a HUGE factor... of peeps going big... I think that is most important to bring crowds. Racing will not do it in the Xgames scenario !:biggthumpup:
To sell something to the big dogs, Its got to have something that general public will be wowed....
I think jetskier79 (Jerry) have some offers to do stuff with xgames, maybe he can shed some light here !

id say it probably wont happen within the next 3 years. but we are making progress. the adrenalina episode was huge. i didnt think that adrenalina was a popular show, but last night i was at a hooka bar and they had adrenalina playing the whole time on every tv. our episode never came on, but its still cool that we had an episode at all on a show like that.
