Blaster 1200 build advice

I just bought a 1200 for my blaster and I was looking for some advice on setup.

I was planning on ordering the extreme throttle engine mounting kit that allows you to use a stock midshaft. Would I be better off doing my own custom mounts and setting the engine back due to the weight?

For the waterbox is there any advantage to the extreme throttle one over a waveraider 1100 box?

What mods can be done to the 1200 exhaust for more power?

What are some basic mods I can do for a little more power, head? ignition? etc..

What would be a good prop to start with and nozzle bore size for a 144mm pump?

What do you want to do with the ski? If you want to jump waves, I can see advantages to the 155, but for everything else, the 144 is a great set up. Especially the Solas 144. It is inexpensive and works really well.

I would set the motor back, but that is totally a matter of opinion.

144 is perfect, Dave wont steer you wrong on prop choice

Why does the 144 perform to the same level as the 155? Shouldn't the 155 give better hook up and etc? Or is it not needed because of the weight? The WB2 runs a 155 with the 760 and those perform great. Is it that the 155 is better but not better enough to justify all the extra work? What's the logic? I'm looking to go to some 1200 based boats and was planning on the 155 pump too. I didn't expect anyone to say otherwise.

I have the extreme throttle mount kit in mine, handles great as-is. I used the raider waterbox, its pretty loud as-is, not sure if I would want a louder box. I have the 144 in mine still, and it works great.
