Looks like they moved the pivot point on the ring forward. Seems that would make the whole thing more responsive. Less action for more motion.

How does moving the thrust end out like that affect steering? Is it more or less responsive than an SJ with quick steering?

No he will not!

The steering is as quick as it was before :Banane01: And yes, the pivot is forward......and I think it is also slightly higher than the mid plane of the pump. I played with it all weeknd @ PCB, it works awesome :hail:

Thats a nice set-up from Blowsion. The new Wamiltons and the SE(Sato Engineering) are sweet also.
They may be expensive, but look at all that R&D, castings, etc. and just think, it will be the last trim system you'll probably ever need to buy(your CATS m ight be also lol). Sure is awesome quality with monster throw. :hail:

called blowsion today, its been out since oct and its 649 bucks,Im getting a trim system this week, but the xft system can be had for close to that,im thinking on going that route if im gonna spend stupid $ on a trim system,im not so hot on the pivot point being back so far, less leverage under throttle, and im not so sure about such a long steering nozzle, bouncing off the bottom would deff cause a tough ride back to the ramp.

I have concerns about the XFT system. IMO carbon is not the way to go for a component like that.

Why worry about the carbon trim when the carbon ride plate holds up to some major bottom end hits and it is still ok

I worry about the fittings that are attached to the system. If one starts comming out or working itself loose you will have to scrap the whole part.

true, dont sweat the carbon, its proved itself in way harder inviroments than this,im lloking for the best design and the most surf friendly system. whats up with the Wammer system ive been hearing about? any pics of that around here?

You want the pivot point further back for backflips, gives the thrust more leverage on the ski to rotate it.

Parr did a huge ballbuster into about 4ft of water and hit SOLID into the sand while in Panama City for the race. There were no signs of damage to any components or his ski.

superjett,I realize it gives you more angle, but it gives ya less leverage to pull it to full tilt under a heavy throttle. I really like the way the wammer nozzle is setup to give ya more leverage on pulling the trim in under heavy throttle, but they want 800 bucks for it.
