So I made a risky move and bought a '93 Square Nose for $600. It was mint on the outside, but the inside was a disaster. It had the ebox taken apart to bits, water everywhere, heavy rust, everything bad. Pull it home though and got the motor to turn by connecting it directly to the battery and each hole had 155psi! Awesome. The motor itself was in great shape. In the end, the only reason it hadnt been running was all the oxidation build up on the electric connections. Some elbow grease on the inside of the hull, a carb rebuild, and a few new motor mounts and now have a minty 650 superjet for the girlfriend for under $700.
Here was the progress.
