any progress on the footholds?

made the cut outs on the 615 footholds. Was kinda difficult coming up with a template considering the holds didnt come with one. The left side with the fire extinguisher was kind of a pain but we were able to make it work. Had trouble with the holds fitting flush because the ways the 550sx tray walls are. Never the less was able to manipulaite and rivet them in.

After the holds were riveted next came the foam. We had the idea of pouring the foam in the already open fire exstinguisher cavity in the back of the ski and leaning the ski up. Drilled a hole on the back right side and did the same thing. worked pretty well. The only problem is the foam expanded and left some gaps. Was wondering the best way the seal the gaps. Was thinking of just filling them in with the resin and hardener? next to come the glassing and the turf(which im not looking forward to)

Do you mean the stock rubber sides of the tray ?

No the little round rubber inserts that cover up the screw holes on the top of the pads. There's two on each side of the back pads and two on each front upper corner near where the hood seals. They always pop out when riding.

you say the foam left some gaps....why dont you just use more pour foam to fill the gaps? Fill all the way back to the rear of the ski, cut the foam down to shape then glass the holes shut.

Cool, thanks. I ride Pyramid and Castaic locally for fresh water. Ill also run out to Havasu every once in awhile to Body Beach and for the World Finals every year. I hit up Ventura at the Power Plant, Pismo when I'm up that way or Oceanside for a Saturday morning run.

Yeah, I ride at Pyramid and Castiac from time to time, but i prefer the power plant in the morning it good riding.
