Chuck at XS says the 62t 760 cylinder has superior transfer design compared to 61x so it has good potential if port timing is lowered.

Interesting. Was considering having CPT build me a 62t ss850 with lowered port timing. Good to hear that other people feel that cylinder has good potential.

Btw...sj762 installed the new XM waterbox which sounds very throatie and seems worth the money just for the sound alone.

I would say it's a great way to have a simple lower cost motor that makes great power and has lower rebuild costs.

i did it myself, took the sleeves out and set it up in the bridgeport, while they were out i cleaned and opened up the transfers in sleeves and cyl as well as boost and exhaust ports. went .75mm over on bore. hoping to have it back up and running in week or two.
