Does anyone sell/make a 90Deg Bilge Thru Hull Fitting???

I am looking for a 90Deg bilge thru hull fitting. I am not talking about how it sprays out like you would be talking about with a pisser.

I am looking for one that has the 90 inside the hull where the hose hooks up.

I dont' think that would flow water very well.

I had one and it worked great, but it was a cheap plastic one that fell apart.

I was hoping to find a billet aluminum one.

Where I have my thru hull mounted is in a very tight spot and it's hard for the hose to make the turn and now that I have a bpipe in there the hose rubs on the bpipe. If I had a 90 it would sit nice and flush against the hull of the ski.

can't you just use a 90* fitting right off of a regular bilge through-hull? I had to do this with the pump in my old 650sx......

I suppose I was more concerned with a restriction that would keep the pump from flowing, or worse, something that would add to air locking a rule.

*shrug*

at least your thinking. I could try to model it here at work and find out the pressure change at the bend

Shorten a standard aluminum one and thread the inside to accept a 90 degree fitting w/hose barb . . . . . . . 1/2" npt pipe thread should be real close, but I haven't measured one . . . . .

If you want to take the "low tech" approach . . you might even be able to epoxy something together to get what you want. The pressure is really low so it shouldn't blow apart . . . . .

These are all great ideas and trust me I have thought of the same ones, but I am really limited on space thats why I was hoping to find something that already had a 90 in it.

Try West Marine, I got one off ebay. They flow just fine. Now I need one for a bigger pump, going to the Attwood 1250.
