The surf forecast is confusing. Looking at wavewatch for the florida gulf coast, it looks freaking huge and says it'll be clean near shore, but it doesn't say specifically which part of the coast. Probably not the part we'll be at. So long as there is at least a little to play in we'll have fun.

A STRONG NORTHEAST/OFFSHORE FLOW SCHEDULED THROUGH THE WEEKEND AND INTO EARLY NEXT WEEK. NO INDICATIONS OF ANY SWELL PRODUCING FETCH AIMED TOWARDS FLORIDA'S WEST COAST. A CALMER PATTERN TO FOLLOW WITH NO SWELL INDICATED.

NORTHEAST winds are bad for panhandle surf.
