Freestyle Porting?

I'm looking at getting more power out of my ski. This might be a stupid question, but does elevation has an effect on porting? I realize it does on compression.
Or maybe the question should be put this way, should a port job be specific to elevation?

No it doesnt. Your compression and jetting will change with elevation but your porting wouldnt.
