Right now I am running a single hole. Over the winter, I will seal it, reinforce, cut two holes, and go that route.

It doesn't take much to seal up the original so I did. If you are installing new xmw hoodhooks then you'll need to reseal those holes too and drill them back out a little further back.

Just wanted to see how people are installing their dual breather poles commonly.

are you sealing up the original hole and reinforcing the whole pole base while you are at it, or are you just opening up the stock hole larger to fit both breather tubes?

so far both boats ive installed an xmetal pole on, ive sealed up the original hole and reinforced the pole base at the same time.

you know what to do

Pat himself told me to just drill the new holes, mount the bracket, take a dremal with a sanding drum, use the bracket as the template and grind away...... there is barely any of the old hole there anyhow.........
