R&D scoop, the plate is a Quadrafin SN I think, only one I have around here right now until I finish my mold and do one from carbon.

Its easy to install a tab on the rideplate that will prevent the grate from falling when the OEM shoe breaks.

plus the xr shoe doesn't open that far without looking like cigarette paper.

the one i have measures out at 146mm on the outside of the ring so never bored it.used an xft instead.
your shoe is fine at 144 or 145 but if you want to send me another one once i bore it to 148 to show what i mean.
don't mean to knock your product at all.i'm keeping it for another boat.
