Heres what I am gathering. With the stock pole bracket, the hood hooks are off to the side of the bracket. With the RRP bracket, the hood hooks are ontop of the bracket. This gives the hood hooks that extra height (the thickness of the bracket) which therefore doesn't put as much downward force on the hood, creating a loose seal.

The aftermarket hood hooks are lower profile and have more of a lock in that prevent the hood from shifting left to right, and front to back, along with more creating a tighter seal because they are essentially closer to the seal.

With the cold fusion hooks there are the "Superjet" hooks which sit taller then there are the "hood hooks" which sit lower. I think I need the "hood hooks" that sit lower do to the extra height of the RRP bracket.

I can be WAYYY off here, Maybe someone can post pics of a stock set up stock hook hooks, stock bracket?

It was hard for my to really identify the problem of the water ingestion because I added my RRP pole, bracket, and hood over the winter.

Have you tried the RRP hooks with the RRP bracket?

I didn't know they existed...

So to my knowledge there are the cold fusion hooks, thrust, wamilitons, x metal and blowsion. Any one have personal exp with any of these with the rrp bracket?

** edit found out the blowsion ones dont fit the rrp bracket.**

Did you buy your rrp bracket used? my bracket came with hooks.

It's very simple. Oem hood prongs with the supplied RRP hood hooks. The grooves keep the hood from shifting.
Sometimes buying secondhand is a waste of time.

Yeah, I bought the one I am using used. Also, I got another RRP bracket that came with my RRP pole also used and it didn't come with them either...

I had no idea that they came with some... Well I know I need some, just not sure which ones to go with or if any one has any experiences with any others.

Honestly, if you have functioning hood hooks, I think it's a waste of money to buy the billet ones for 75+ but im at the point where I don't really have a choice.

My hood prongs prob arn't even in the grooves they are so high.

I just received my hood, and i can now confirm that the RRP hooks work with the wamiltons hood, they hold the hood down tight. I can't move the hood in any direction.

Wanted to give last and final update. Always nice to post that stuff incase some other people encounters a similar problem. Quick Run through of everything.

My issue can forth when I installed my RRP bracket with out the "supplied" lowered hooks. I bought my bracket second hand so I had no idea.

Nornally the hood hooks attach directly to the hull, as with the stock bracket. With the RRP bracket, the hood hooks attach ONTOP of the bracket. Therefore, the height of the RRP bracket was taking away from my downward pressure on the front with the hood seal.

STEVE PWC sent me the RRP hood hooks for FREE (Total hook up, your the man) and it resolved my issue. The lowered hooks allowed me to get enough downward pressure to create a nice good seal with great pressure of the front of the seal.

Went riding today and water injection was at a minimum. Thanks for all your help guys.

Heres a pic with stock hood hook on one side, RRP ones on the other.
