if I video it, then burn it to a dvd, do you think I can upload it to the X? or does it take some special, magical program to convert my footage from the DVD burner to .wav or whatever?

I'm out of the loop on that stuff. people talk about convesion and compression about that stuff but I don't do any of that..

Ollie has posted stuff on you tube and linked it here before.

Hey Tom- If you have a dv camcorder with a firewire output (and a pc or mac with a firewire port) there should not be a prob.

XP or Mac os10 have everything you need to get your stuff on the web built in.

If you already have an Mpeg you can upload to Youtube and it does it all for you.

It is pretty simple + the machine does pretty much everything for you.

I had some problems with my importing. But that might be because I was using XP service pack 1 with no patches + a dubious history.

unless you have a boat you might be better off with a water proof disposable camera. (or ollies pimp waterproof digital camera)

ok so I have just read all 11 pages of this and I am going to agree that the straight legged jump most definately looks much better while flying through the air. I have always been a straight legged guy on my dirtbike, that is until it comes time to hit the ground where if I tried to striaght leg it I would break both of my legs and my back. Which I currently have one broken leg thanks to my dirtbike. Anyway, not important. I am a novice at the whole jetski thing and I am curious as to whether Demon and Slut land straight legged even if they land the ski flat. Now I am assuming that off of big wave jumps the ski is always nose high and lands nose high so it sinks into the water and they dont have to bend your knees. I am most likely beating a dead horse here, sorry dont beat on my like you did nube. I just have yet to jump anything serious on my ski and am curious. If you land the ski flat do you have to bend your knees to prevent hurting yourself?

great questoin!

I land straight leg maybe slightly bent. jumping straight legged makes the nose go higher than bent so I rarely have a flat landing. Landing flat hurts no mater what you do. bending you legs on a flat landing might not be a bad idea.

I think landing with your ass out on a tail landing would be an instant enima

I have a boat but the camera- eh I doubt my skills would get anything at the right moment. Plus wouldn't it be better to see the skill and grace in fluid motion so nubes(like me) can really aprreciate it?

...if you land flat from real high it's best to not fight it... just fall off to the side when you land. On normal jumps you were right on...

Ollie, if you have skills you can shoot em. or the next best thing is video already out there that we can view and critique. Demon can you find a legs straight and a dumper jumper to link us to?

Can you control the attitude of the ski in the air easily. I am thinking not, if you pull up with your footholds it wont bring the front end of the ski down it tucks the back of it up into your a**crack right? It is easy on a bike with the brake and throttle, but I am just curious as to how easy.... or hard it is to manipulate a 300 lb jetski in the air.
