I got nothing .... yea yea the freaking freak talk is 37 pages . I know the freakers are doing their holds a certain way and love it. I would like a step by step padding / turf tutorial including that little Lucus floppy thingy . Thanks in advanced for your smart alec comments Matt, Don, Shane etc. I'm sure I missed some .Pics would be nice and make it snappy . I'm a very busy man with a freak to build.

i didnt get a tutorial. i just did it and it came out ok.
it´s my third time turfing so im happy.
just put pad in footholds. pad on gunwales.
turf in foothold turf gunwales. pad floor and turf floor done.
just have good imagination and you will do ok.

That's what im talkin bout Willis . Looks odd did not really understand what the benefits were over a regular turf job..... don't want to do it three times.
The benefits are that as you kick into the holds, the flap from the rear will fold under and provide extra padding between your foot and the top of the hold. That makes the foothold grip stronger.
My buddy recently re-did my holds. The old job had simple 8mm pad on top and bottom and turf over that. Not good enough, we kept coming out of those holds all the time.
So he removed all the tray pad and turf. Put new 25mm pad in over the whole bottom plus two individual kick wedges behind each hold to keep your feet in.
Flaps behind and on the side, though I am not sure what the side flaps do.
