Found some new/cheap riding Shoes. Check em out.

Hey guys just wanted to let you know about a new pair of riding shoes I found. At $20.99 (Normally $69.00) shipped you can't go wrong. They are from a boat shoe company from south florida. If you're a fisherman you might have heard of Rugged Shark. They are self draining and have no laces or cinch straps to push on your feet while they are in footholds.

Mine should be here by the end of the week and I'll let you know how they work.

Check em out:biggthumpup: :

I own two pairs of similar shoes. Most likely made by the same company in China.
They are great for those real rainy days when you have to walk your dog.
Those shoes, Slippery Switch pants, Slippery Tour Coat... you are all set to walk the dog!

Too bad you can take all the neoprene off as soon as you walk into the house, but the dog still stinks hours later. ;)

Just got footholds. What is wrong with these shoes for footholds?

if all you do is stick your toes in the holds then you would be ok, but if you are like the rest of us, you kick your feet in as deep and tight as they will go, your ankles will get eaten up by the turf..............

makes sense.

however, i recently had to buy a last-minute $3 pair of watershoes from wallyworld and i like them better than my asics. they dont let rocks or sand in and they dont come off in the water, yet theyre easy to put on and take off..... and theyre not water tennies :haha:

BK is correct... those things are no good for freeride/freestyle. You are going to want a shoe w/ ankle support (it will pay off in the long run) Get some asics wrastlin' shoes and call it a day. They are tested and proven to withstand the worst punishment and last longer than anythin I have ever used... Not to mention they will protect your lower leg from rubbing on the turf and making nasty sores on your legs... My bud ted has a hole in his leg because he wont wear booties... Oh yeah, i also recomend booties for the feet too..

does Asics make a wide wrestling shoe?

I tried some once and my foot is so wide I had to go up several sizes to get one that would fit comfortably.

most all shoe company's make a wrastlin' shoe... do a search online. I'm sure they offer odd sizes
