Exhaust tube

Well, I did a search for this and got nothin. Is the exhaust tube that runs to the back of the ski just pressed into the flange? Can I take the tube out without taking the flange out?

To get the exhaust tube out you need to remove the rivots in the rear and, it will take some time, but it will come lose and you can remove it that way out the back of the hull. It is allot easier if you are defoaming the ski.

Yeah, I am defoaming. That is why I want to get the tube out of the way, so I can get the rest of the foam out.

So, the tube is welded to the flange?

Yes........so you can pull it out from the rear

my ex tube didnt just fall out when i did it..... it required quite a bit of persuation..... but its the only way to defoam..... unless youre darin :haha:

What is the ID on the round nose exhaust tube? I believe they are larger than the ones on the squares.

i think OD is 2-3/8". theys definately larger than a sn tube.
