Freestyle BOB Hull Question

Wondering what would be better out of these options.
My engine Set-up is in my Signature on my BOB Gen 1 Hull.
Someone is selling a complete X-metal trim ready to go for an awesome price,
Or should I go with an ADA Girdled head?
Which would be better?
Looking for bottom end power for flips, I am a flat-water rider.
Would trim be a good option? Or would the head be better?
Thanks

Owen

You already have a high compression head. No reason to go ADA unless something is wrong with yours. Trim will help you out more.

Yeah thats what I thought,
My head isnt very high comp though, I think It runs 155 both cylinders, which is good because I want to run pump gas still.
It isnt a girdled head though? Is there any gain with one?

There's your answer. :bigok:
Besides, you can make do with slightly less snap. A trim will be more helpful for your goals.

I'd go with the trim if you can afford it. Then later on, you can pick up a girdled head for around 100 bucks and sell you old one.

LOL. Ya I guess.
Pretty sure he's got a pole.
If he doesn't, I'd just go with an OEM RN pole for now. No reason to spend hundreds on something that doesn't add performance.

X-metal trims are great once they're installed. They just take a little massaging to get them just right. Everyone hates the extra work. After +10 units installed, we don't mind it so much anymore ;)

The Thrust system is really cool too. We've been using them on a couple of our latest builds. A bit more coin, but they're ready to go!

I have mount around 10 Xscream trim system kit, and its take 2 minutes to grind to reach the maximum throw, sometime I just mount it and its fine without grinding. Xscream improve their trim system at every batch. Still the best bang for the buck IMO.

Sounds good, I figure out the pole I want first then try x-metal trim systems or something else
Not sure yet, all I need is a pole a pole bracket to finish my build, and my bro is making my pole bracket so all I need is to choose my pole
