Yesterday I bought a Solas Concord 13/16 off of Barre Bomber ( http://www.x-h2o.com/threads/8739 ). So far he has been a great seller and has taken the time to answer many questions about the impeller even though he could have probably sold it to someone who would have asked a lot less questions.
It was a 12/18 Concord that had been repitched to a 13/16 as you can see in the pictures. After speaking with Dave at IMPROS and looking at the Solas website it turns out a 12/18 was never made for the superjet. That got me wondering about the impeller and Barre Bomber posted more pics of the prop as you can see below to show that it was a 12/18 and in fact had been repitched to a 13/16.
Anyways I started to look at the impeller recommendation page at Solas ( http://www.solas.com/products/pwc/impeller/brands/brand.asp?FkindNo=F24&SwType=1 ) and it turns out the letters and numbers YD-CD-12/18 match the prop that is recommended for the Wave Runner XL1200, Wave Runner GP1200, Wave Runner GP1200R, Wave Raider 1100, and Wave Venture 1100. According to that chart all Superjet props start with YB-CD.
Does this mean that this impeller will not work on my superjet? Barre Bomber is going to measure the impeller for me to check and see if it is in fact a 144mm impeller.
I'd like to also clarify that Barre Bomber by no means tried to mislead me. He just pulled out a bunch of props he had stored away and proceeded to sell them. He has been more than helpful and said he would take care of this if in fact the impeller would not work on a superjet.
Any help/guidance on whether this is the right impeller for a superjet would be greatly appreciated. Both Barre Bomber and myself are confused at the moment.
