Freestyle Rear rocker ideas?

Just purchased a 01 SJ hull and hood to use as a plug to pull a mold off of...

Will be doing the basic hull mods but am toying with ideas of how and where to rocker the rear...
Anyone have some ideas from hulls they have seen to help get the wheels turning or
links to builds with details i can read up on.

Thanks

its raining again!
I rockered/scalloped the rear of my ski similar to xft and its great for freestyle, makes the ski roll of a setup wake realy quick and super flickable at low
speed. The only downside i found is when you go wot its lethal!!!!!!

looks good!
I was thinking of adding some width to it, and was tossing the idea of adding it to the outside and I could add some rocker to that piece... and get the same look you have above but
with added width

I see alot of the ski's are about 28" wide, I guess this is outside bond rail to rail...?
the stock actual hull width in the back is 22" roughly... trying to see how much width they are adding
and i can figure how to put it in

When we spoke last, I mentioned the "rocker" some of the aftermarket hulls were being built with. I don't know if rocker is the right word, not really "rocker" but it's similar to the XFT that was posted. I just don't see a way to build true rocker into the rear of a ski that is already built.

Here is the Kong with the swim deck option:

Here's a pic of the inside of the WCF Vision, I can't find a good pic of the outside:

I can't find much on the Trinity hulls as far as pictures, but in this video he talks about it around the 2min mar:

is the superfreak considered rockered in the rear because of the piece thats rockered into the side of the hull thats kind of like a sponson thing? or is it like the superjet pictured above just alot less. going to be doing something similair soon like this and was curious aswell

The Superfreak is rockered. Take a look at this picture. On a normal SJ, the bottom is flat, the freak actually has rear rocker that is like front rocker , just not as severe.

i did see that picture, and have studied many others of freaks and none look like that,i think the picture makes it look much more drastic than it is

Ya, it surely does. But I do believe there is some rear rocker to this, not just the cuts in the sides. Maybe I'm wrong, maybe the fact that the back keeps getting closer to the bond line just makes it look like there is rocker????

Lol, me too....

I dug through all kinds of pictures trying to figure out if I wanted to cut the back of mine and add "rocker" or side cut or whatever. It's still on the back of my mind, we'll see. Hard to determine if it's worth all the extra work.

I have looked at so many pictures trying to get ideas... and its so funny how different angles play tricks with whats really going on. The superfreak below just looks sick like that but i have come to the conclusion its just the way rocker was added to the front half of the ski, and i think its pulling the back up slightly with the weight bias...

yes that was another thing. i think it is weight making it sit like that. also what hull did you measure that was 22inches in width
