Thinking about trading up my kawi for a sn? Good trade?

-ocean pro ride plate
-r&d scoop intake grate
-skat trak stainless impeller
-custom general lee paint / graphics
-new molded turf all around.
-finger throttle
-k&n spark arrestor
-46mm mukini carb

For a cherry bone stock 94 SN +700 cash I'm thinking footholds and possible 701 swap? Is this doable with this trade?
All inputs/advice/things to look for would be greatly appreciated.

750's actually make more power than the 701. And you have a bunch of mods. Id stick with the kawi

ya but im trying to get into freestyle and i feel like my skis just too heavy to really progress. its a great ski i just feel like its holding me back a little.

I had a 2001 SXi Pro 750. Great ski. Sold it and bought a 1990 SN with a 701. Never looked back. You wont regret it.

If the SN is a 94, it should be 701 stock.

It should be a 61x 701 if it has not been replaced with a 650... The guy calls it a 650 on the CL add so he either thinks all SN superjets are 650's or knows it was swapped with one.

Thats not an even trade IMO...your ski is easily worth 1500-1800 + 700 cash = $2200-$2500 which that sn is not worth. I'd try and sell your kawi and take the cash you would have spent and look for a sn with a bunch of mods on it. You'll get way better value for your dollar.

Agreed, I wouldn't pay more than $1500 for a stock sn with a 701, either tell him to trade straight up, or just sell yours outright and but a superjet with the cash.

$700 for the bone stock SN is a deal but don't trade yours plus $700. IMO, your 750 is equal to the SN +$700 (that is...you get $700 in the trade, not him). I had a 750sx hopped up with everything and loved it. Loved the SN hopped up with the same equipment even more.

Mod for mod, the power is very similar. There are slight differences but it's not something that will make you choose one engine over the other IMO....at least in stock porting.

You'll be pushing it to find an ADA head and B pipe for $700. Can probably get a used B pipe, footholds, and turf for $700 though.
