I take Shodokan Karate, and I know in one of the books for the history of Karate, it was stated Muay Thai is the most bad ass martial art there is. I think it was like 90% of victories in cross-martial art competitions are/were Muay Thai. I just wish it was taught around here :(

theres not a whole lot of different techniques in it like most other martial arts, we just practice the same thing millions of times till its perfect

Started the new P90X2 on Xmas eve. Here we go with another winter workout. This may end up being a Hybrid with some Insanity worked in.

Soo far the P90X2 is pretty weak or slow moving. I have gotten used to the Insanity fast pace that it is hard to slow down.

Ok I need to start by saying that I never thought I could get into a DVD home workout program. The P90X was not too bad, Tony horton one on one, master series. This one (P90X2) is moving slow throught the first three weeks. My wife says it is supposed to speed up and I am looking forward to it.
Buy the Insanity for sure it makes me hurt in a good way.
If you can commit yourself to 40 minutes a day 3-5 times a week you will be amazed. Insanity I think of as an Athletic workout. I pulled a muscle in my hip last season and took a few months off to recover and add a few lbs.

I LOVE WAKING UP EARLY AND WORKING OUT REAL HARD IN MY LIVING ROOM IN MY DAMN PJS.

i need mostly cardio tbh, i lift weights for a long time and i did get bigger, but i was so fat that you couldent tell

Look on craigslist alot of fatass lazy people with big dreams that buy the workouts and never open, next sell cheap on Craigslist.

Chadman look on craislist and you can find the Insanity for a good price. The insanity workout is awesome. Just do it...

Since this thread doesn't get any airtime anyhow I'll volunteer that my health club is the International House of Pancakes!
After you get a real job and a family...if your doing it right- there isn't any time for you to work out, that's what the ski is for dummy

Took Muay Thai training in high-school. It did rock my world too. Gained 15 pounds (Was scrawny), and got some serious endurance. You truly do have to be committed though, had quite afew blackouts and people yacking. Wish I kept with it, just couldn't afford it during the school year.

I've been training BJJ for 16 months now, anywhere from 2-4 days a week. Not sure if it has helped my riding ability yet, but I imagine it would. BJJ is all about having a strong core and good hip mobility so maybe I'll see a difference in my riding abilities this season.
