I think he is just referring to the quick disconnect, they are used in snow plow kits for trucks. He is on the moon, so that is my best guess.

buy 2 of these, one in the ski, the partner to the one on the battery onto the end of your charging wires
disconnect ski, connect charger, pulg in charger
all good
