This is going to be just a tad different than Galveston. Height:hail: and Period:hail: being for the better, temperature:bigeyes: being for worse.

In any case, I can't wait to ride in that stuff!!!!! :woot:

This NOAA forecast always gives reliable near-term surf forecasts for our home break in Oregon. Here is the version for Pismo:

http://weather.noaa.gov/cgi-bin/fmtbltn.pl?file=forecasts/marine/coastal/pz/pzz670.txt

Um....sweetie pie - that's for the LA/Oxnard area - a full 200+ miles away. Either way, if we get some clean surf that's 5' to 8' with on offshore breeze I'll be a happy camper...

Magic Seaweed has a pretty cool real time report and canbe viewed here:

And for those wondering what to do with that 15-17 seonds in between sets. Well, let's just say you can spend it laughing at me trying to reboard me ski after I eat sheet. Did I mention I'm not very good in the surf?

....but at least I try, right?:highhorse:

And finally, a shot taken earlier today with the webcam in Pismo....

Hey sweetie pie, I beg to differ. It is from Point Piedras Blancas to Point Arguello, which is about 85 miles total distance, and includes Pismo. :booty: The report is produced by the National Weather Service office in LA/Oxnard.

:cool2:

Just spoke with Joe as well as my parents - both confirm the weather is gorgeous today and is scheduled to just get nicer as the week wears on. Surf should be 5-8' faces....Of course, you still need to bring a sweatshirt or jacket, but I think this is going to be an awesome weekend =)

If I can find a pair of replacement ODI grips before I get there, she's all yours. Mine went mysteriously missing (hmmmm...Steve has a brand spankin' new pair on HIS ski though now that I think about it!)
