Other Hand warmers Not Hot Enough

Like others have said, the real variable is how your cooling lines are run.
I do like the hot bar idea, but I'm afraid getting my ODI's lined up right with the holes every time may be a trick. I don't want to have the grips turn and cook my motor.

shoulnt matter I would think....teh water will escape no matter so long as there are holes drilled....Key would be to make sure ENOUGH water can escape..

You have to be really careful. Drilling grips and having that be the only cooling outlet for the motor can severely restrict motor cooling.
I should file that under another one of my stupid rookie mistakes costing me a topend about six years ago.

If set up right, running it through the bars and grips is really nice. I just run a hose to each grip and zip tie it in place. Never any issues.

I don't think they'd get very hot at all if most of the water is exiting the bar ends. Just drill the grip holes big enough and it should be fine.

haha. fl blood.. yeah don grow a set. but seriously I think it was much colder than 57 up towards the river where we were riding. My hands were scorching though! I used the T between the head pipe and stinger. I just plugged the bypass fitting and attached it to the line running to my bars. Oh and I run a 2.3 needle seat as a restrictor at the stinger.

yeah it's plenty. It just kinda dribbles at idle but a steady stream as soon as I pull throttle.

They sure do work. They are a bit bulky but keep you warm. I rode with them yesterday and my hands were toasty.

They give me terrible arm pump. I find hot hands much better.

Instead of drilling the handle bar, I run one of my water outlets up the pole using 1/4" rubber hose, ending into a plastic tee at the center of the bar, then plastic lines which end at the start of the grips. Water may only be lukewarm at idle but will be very hot when running, necessitating the use of 2-3 mm neoprene gloves (about $18). The water will squirt onto your knuckles after anything past fast idle. My lines are fastened with Adel clamps. I leave them on year round, just swap over at the rear of the head for summer use.

Lots of discussion on this subject and only one member calling pu$$y! Not bad.Well,l ended up teeing off the front hose from the head to the headpipe.Seems to work great.

And your set up looks nice Fred! Using the Adel clamps lets you shoot the water right where you need it.You need to bring Yoda back ol' wise one.

Why have to change your restictors? I just install a valve and change it as i need to.

Because I like the simplicity of quick disconnect fittings with a labeled size insert. I change those maybe six times each year, and each time takes less than 30 seconds. No guess work.
