I'm on my way back from pismo, where I rode my octane (the red OEM one) all week.... gotta say I freakin loved it way more than I would've guessed. It really rocked the pismo surf. Not as quick handling as my previous SJ, but totally fun to ride. Very forgiving... super comfortable... my back is thanking me!
