Where to live in Daytona

I just want to say I envy you for being able to choose where you can live. Most of us are locked down by school or work!

On a side note South Daytona Beach area is awesome for many reasons. Real close to Ponce inlet where you can ride anytime (not hassel free though) surfers rule, beach patrol are obvious surfer dudes who will run you off if surfers are present.
Also though it is close to the beach break ride zone which moves frequently up and down the beach.

Yeah but I bet you own alot more then I do and have nicer toys.lol I drive a :):):):)ty truck don't own a home and only have a few skis as toys. So I can kind of pick up and go just trying to find a place I want to stay at and settle down.

Ormond Beach. I say screw South Daytona, cops are total assfaces. It's well know place to stay away from. If you are poor like me then come on down to Holly Hill. cheap as :):):):) and less than a mile from the beach. Do not live beachside, find a good place mainland.

Yeah I am poor thats for sure.lol But not really worried about the cops unless they hassle you about ridding. I dont party or drink so they usally don't mess with me. Just wanna live near the beach get to ride some waves on a ski and surf a little. I am either going to just pack it up and move in nov or come down for a week or so and check it out figure out where to move to. If anyone knows off a room to rent let me know.

Thanks

If your rich like Idok you can live in St. Augy and stalk Idok till you find the secret spot.

I agree with that. edgewater would be ( is ) my choice. yes it's further south, but you are still only talking about a short drive, and instead of crack heads you have rednecks for neighbors.

I also have some people telling me there are some other places in fl with better surf and have places where we can ride. Just trying to figure out my choices and then go from there start looking for some jobs and places to live.

Daytona is awesome for riding, :):):):)ty for work (but there are jobs). Most places in FL sucks for work unless you are in a major metro. I love living beachside, there are some neighborhoods that are dirty so I would recommend coming down first and scoping some areas before committing (what I did). If I didn't live within a few miles of the beach I would not live in Florida, I can grab a surfboard, walk one block and be on the beach and that fkin rocks!

Daytona is probably the best area for surf and accessibility to the beach... you can go north and ride st. auggie, hit the beach break, or go down south to ponce inlet... and if you wanna drive a couple hours you can hit sebby (the hole)
