Quicksilver PWC oil is like Rotax oil, not TCW3 but a higher temp spec. Good stuff but bad smelling.

I use either Lucas semi -synthetic or Torco synthetic, both are smokeless oils which basically means they smoke less.

So running dominator in these pv motors are ok, even though they are not tcw3 approved? Im running an xscream pv865ss.. I was originally told to just use regular yamalube, mineral I believe.. but have recently found out I shouldnt be using a mineral based oil because it can clag up the powervalves. The distributor of the motor passed on to me a recommendation to use maxima k2.. 'low ash' to help the pv's.
I'm in Australia so I'm looking at finding the best prices shipped to me, or getting this recommendation to pass on the info to local distributors.
Semi-synthetic or full synthetic.. best bang for buck?
Thanks

A freestyle engine will never get hot enough to use the "low ash" detergent. I think your distributor wants to sell some expensive oil.
