Super Jet What do you think of this deal?

I just found a 97 superjet that is bone stock and literally looks about new... ridden a few times each summer. Owner is asking $2500 with single place trailer and won't split. What do you think? Worth pouncing on?

$2500 is the standard rate for a well used but good shape stock SJ. the trailer is a bonus.

The compression should be 150 per hole.

Some things that first time buyers miss:

1. Check around pole base for cracks, or stress marks.
2. Check the bond line for cracks, feel look under the bumpers.
3. Always get a written out bill of sale
4. Have the seller wait to start the motor cold
5. Look in the motor with a flashlight to see piston wash.

You should also be able to get an idea form looking at the bolts to see if the motor has been pulled, or electrical box opened up.

Also ask the seller what oil and gas they run. Ask oil/ratio mix OEM states 50:1 but most reccomend 40:1 is good to use. Ask the seller for extras (stand, parts, PFD) to sweeten the deal

Ahh Fruitport. I had to hit the Lowe's there a couple of weeks ago to get my moms a new ceiling fan.
