Freestyle b pipe limited and mod pipe difference

Adding to the above post... The limited chamber moves the power band a little lower in the rpms. Maybe one of the engine guys can comfirm how much but if my memory serves me, I don't think it's more than a few hundred rpms. It's just a little better in the low end and the mod is a little better in the mid range. Dollar for dollar, I'd have the limited for freestyle. If you're trying to buy one used and a mod comes up for a good price, I probably wouldn't reject it for that alone.

yeah id imagine so, its always a pain in the arse to put the tank back in for me

Used to be for me too. Then someone told me to pull the battery (no need to pull the battery box) and spray soapy water on the exhaust hose and around the tank where it might contact something. After I learned that, I could pull my tank out with the limited chamber in about 2 minutes. Getting it back in was easy too. If the tank doesn't have much fuel in it, it makes it even easier. Just have to learn the tricks and you'll be amazed how easy it is.

The Limited chamber is suppose to produced better low end power, however I have 2 superjets with identicle engine setups except one has a mod chamber and the other has the limited chamber. Honestly I cannot tell a difference in performance at all. If I we're buying a brand new B pipe I would buy the mod chamber simply because its easier to install A LOT esaier!

I like the increase in power the ski has, but I tried getting an allen wrench on the bottom screw, WOW!!!!!! I gave up after a few beers. What a pain in the arse, gotta be a better way.

yeah pop the headpipe off to adjust the bottom screw, then at least you can tell how much your opening it and if it stays put why locking it down.

Yep. Takes less than five minutes to get the head pipe off, and another five to put it back on.
