At Tavaras last weekend I seen Stoyer on the Kong and Lucas on the Superfreak ..... Lucas riding with 100 less cc was going bigger, 3 flips in a row vs stoyer doing 2 with the 2nd nosed in.... Maybe his ski wasn't running right...

I would say both hulls are going to work fine,

IMO if your spending the money for an A/M hull who wants a narrow SJ style tray... That's the only neg I see with the kong

Order a Kong so we can get a ride report!

Kong-SuperFreak-Vision....

You guys are killing me!
B4 we decide who is #1, lets allow these guys to make some hulls. And sell some hulls.
The market will settle it in the end.

I would guess there's gotta be at least 20-25 Badass hulls out there now.... No hull failures as of yet, other than some hood issues......(which if u pancake off boat wakes it's not the hoods fault) but there are a few cracked hoods

Me and Lucas are riding really light hulls and hoods built by Tem and have been putting the Superfreak hulls through a good test... Any body that has seen those double try's in the budproductions video... No stress cracks, no paint chipping, no motor mount issues....gotta remember our hulls are #2 & #3 and both under 57 lb hull and hood...

I think Steve built a great looking hull, the graphics really made the hull come together IMO .... Looking forward to riding one in the surf

IMO the kong & Superfreak are built for flatwater, there super light and designed around flat water use... How many times you see Pat in the surf, lol Now Tem loves the surf, but the badass was first designed for flat water but kicks azzz in surf also. Same as the kong was going big at Daytona

Now we just need a real kong review..... And a real lenzi review!

I flew down to FL and rode both of them before ordering my Superfreak.
I rode the superfreak first. The second I jumped on it I was comfortable. It was love at first braaap. So stable yet so incredibly flickable. I have ridden several a/m hulls. Most other hulls always had just as many negatives as positives. I couldn't find anything I didn't like about the freak.

The very next day I rode the Kong. Coming off the Superfreak it felt like I was getting back on a Superjet. I'm sure if I had my superjet there, I would certainly noticed a big difference in the hulls. The tray wasn't that much bigger than a SJ and it wasn't much more stable than a SJ. To me it felt like a lighter SJ with a slightly bigger tray and a little better hookup.

I am not a huge flat water freestyle guy so I really can't ride either of these hulls to their full potential. However, I have been riding for 18 years. I used to race and now I do a fair amount of freeriding. I do roll and flip in the surf. Hopefully this gives you some idea of the difference.

I think the fact that I am now riding a badass speaks for itself.
I don't want to take anything away from the guys and X Scream. They have always been excellent to me and I love what they do for the sport. I buy everything I can from them.

IMO, I think BR's are the most brutally demanding on any hulls. I guess if you pancake a BF , it will eventually take a told on the hood but learning BR's "smacks" the landing sides and will do more damage than BF's ever will.

Yep, I agree. My old RN had a WCF hood that held up real well to a LOT of pancakes though :)

I would love to see how the Vision rides some time.
