Freestyle Cooling line - size question

My xft hull has 1/2" hard lines through the hull. The motor I took from a superjet was using factory 3/8 lines.

Anyone have a suggestion on how to size the lines?

Should I run 1/2 from the pump to the hull, then 1/2 to the b-pipe manafold? Then 3/8 after that. Do they make 1/4 fittings with 1/2 barb for that to work?

Where do I get 1/2 line?

Should I just convert 1/2 to 3/8 using some sort of fitting? What would I use?

Thanks!

Matt, Ill give that a shot. Where did you buy the cooling line and hose clamps? I was hoping to find a local source.

been running the clear w/fiber hose from Lowes hardware
for several years on my SJ - both 650/protec and 7010 bpipe motors
and my coffman piped 750 with no problems
the downstream on the fcv's turns black due to exhaust backup when fcv is closed
but all lines are sound if you run a reasonable cooling setup

No luck with the clear hose, would not stretch far enough. The 1/2 hose was too big for the other connections, and I just didn't trust it. I tried about 3 types of air hoses. I finally ended up with the Northern tool 3/8 yellow air hose. I was able to stretch this over the larger barb.
