Worst part is, I had it as a Buy it Now. So the auction is considered closed. Now, I can't have his bid retracted. So I have to relist it again and pay listing fees again....Maybe it was someone that works at Ebay, trying to bump up the End of Month revenue numbers :sneaky:

Theoretically if they agree it was a scam, they might waive my re-listing fees. I'm not holding my breath.

complete scam!! was this in your e mail or my messages in my ebay? if he won the item he will send you a request for payment. if its generated from an ebay acct it will show up in your my messages not just your e mail.. report it to spoof@ebay.com.. good luck

Looks brand new. Still has clear plastic scratch guard on the front, earbuds, usb cable and cd are in factory sealed plastic bag. No repair/refurb stickers.

It's real easy to tell if an e-mail is really from Ebay just check your messages in My Ebay and if it's there than it's from Ebay .
I get these fishing e-mails all the time and report them instantly by just forwarding them to the above e-mails

Unreal. I end up listing it again(they refunded my fees as the other buyer is no longer a regustered user), and within 10 minutes I get this email from another d1ckhead:

I wish to tell you that you have a very great item for sale and i will definitely want to buy it and pay you the sum of $350 immediately with my paypal account for the item itself and the shipping costs via USPS.I am very sorry for any incovenience but i will greatly appreciate it if you can grant my request as i am sure you know that these bogus bidders on ebay these days wont even allow you win a thing hence the reason why i would like you to help me send this item to my dad who is currently in nigeria as i write now.No need to worry as i will definitely pay all the extra charges that it may attract and pleas help me include your Email address when replying so i can be able to reply.I will also like if there will any extra costs.
