Other Oil block off--Rotax

Hoping somebody can answer a couch question.
Gonna block off the oil injection and pre-mix the fuel. Done it b4 and it worked fine.
However, the rotax motor has a "rotary valve" and brass worm gear to the crank to drive it for the oil injection.
In the past we've left the oil tank in the ski with the line hooked up to lube the rotary valve.
My question: Is this lube needed? Or can we remove the oil tank completely.

On my old 800 race boat we had the line looped and tank removed...just left the line filled with oil and it worked fine.

l have to agree with jetx.My local seadoo tech had me set up my hx the same way.

So there is another option...
Unfortunately, the motor won't be in my driveway til Monday or Tuesday. (It's AllDayJay's ski) Frank and I are gonna help him get the damn thing back in the water.

He may ride a couch..(more like a love seat)... But the guy knows his way around a wave. Great surfrider.
