Will fresh paint prevent fresh epoxy work from curing?

Pretty sure epoxy is an aerobic adhesive meaning it needs air to cure. Regardless of how it cures though, it seems kind of silly to be putting paint or primer on something that can't be sanded yet.

yes it can, or it can cause an UGLY mess to say the least. never topcoat ANY surface that isn't fully cured

Epoxy does not need air to cure, thats why you mix two parts. Fyi

Nearly all epoxy will have some blush that needs to be removed before it can be painted. Even if the surface was free of blush it would be too slick for paint to adhere to very well. Let it fully cure and wash the area to be painted with a scotch-brite pad.
