Who From the east Is going?

i am thinking about heading west for this and wanted to know who is going from the east..... p;ossibly consolidate and rent a car and head up to pismo.....


or another idea i had was maybe renting an rv and heading up

I am working on it.

I just talked to Leanne and Norm at the boat launch yesterday. They have a Mack Daddy diesel pusher bus and room for 11 jet skis in their trailer. They said if we can get 10 or 11 skis together they would haul directly from the Jersey Rager to Pismo for $600 per ski. That is a pretty sweet deal for round trip. If that can happen then I will fly out and rent a car to ride around in. They will get the skis to the beach for us. How cool is that! I was considering shipping but then I had to pick it up out there with a rental vehicle and then get it to the beach myself.

Who else is interested?

YAY! So Norm and Leane are still in the running? That would be great - last time I spoke to her (about a week ago) she said they couldn't make it, but that was a different travel scenario....sure hope they -and you canmake it.

Please let me know if there is anything I can do to help you get here - like pick you up from a more metropolitan airport to cut down on costs. If you fly to Sacramento, I can get you there and you can drive down & back with us.

If she flys into Sac, yes (she's gotta be here by Thursday afternoon - this rig bails out of work at 5:30 p.m. sharp and barrels down the highway to Pismo = 5+ hr. drive)....if she flies into/out of Santa Maria (most local airport) we can get here there any time between Friday afternoon and Sunday around 6:00.

I would LOVE for you guys to come out!

I have been talking to a lot of people and it seems like there it would be easy to fill Leanne's trailer if anyone from the east was in the contest. I am kinda loosing interest myself. It think I will just do the Jersey rager then go to Daytona in November and January.

its not just about a contest. its going to be the biggest freeride to date. so you crybabies are missing out on the point. its about having fun with friends not a stupid competition.

I too hope Leanne and Norm and the entire east coast crew can load that rig up and make it out.....but bear in mind there will be tons of exposure for any and all riders (heck, you all can even laugh at ME riding stand-up in the surf) so it shouldn't be a threatening situation for anyone...just enjoy the ride. I gaurantee you'll have the best time in the surf AND on the beach!

I'd go just to ride the spot but a lot of people aren't a excited about traveling as I am. I want to ride my machine out there this time. Not that borrowing Ross's square last year wasn't a blast but I have been dreaming about ripping the Pacific on my X2 since I came home last year. $600 was just about affordable for me but it would be double that to ship it out then rent a truck to tote it to the beach as well as fly myself out.

I cry myself to sleep every night anyay. This contest has nothing to do with it. I am just in touch with my emotions.
