i have one on e-bay that i got from a guy that claimed that it work fine if he held the start button down...i started it 99 cents no reserve and stated that in the description..... the bid is getting up there(way more than i would have sold it on here). i just feel guilty if someone buys it and it will not work for them.....i clear staqted all this in the description....

it may come back and bite you in the a$$ even if you stated the condition otherwise in the description

plus the way you have written the description it does imply that it works and your buddy simply had it wored up wrong

Hey dont throw away that broken MSD, Ill call it new and sell it on Ebay. Guys, please do not use Ebay as a dumpster.

I was honest in the description..and e-bay will not let me change the condition...i'm going to make sure the buy has read the description before i ship it......i don't want to deceave anyone and the condition being marked as new was a honest mistake......the one thing i have to say is anyone who can not look at the pic i posted of the item and figure out it's not new.....or bids up to $70 bux for an item that retales new for $240 something ...needs to read the description where i feel the condition of the is clearly started,. If i wanted to rip people off i would not have made this therad......

Two options:

a. Install in a ski with known good electrical system and try it out.

b. Send it to MSD. They'll test it. (Though they have been known to say units test good when they don't work)

I have one that I think is bad as well.....for some reason I just keep it sitting around the garage.
